Amazon Seller Central Referral Fee Changes for 2019

Early in 2019, Amazon will be rolling out fee changes in Seller Central:
  • FBA Inventory Storage Fees: February 15th, 2019
  • FBA Fulfillment Fees: February 19th, 2019
  • Referral Fees: February 19th, 2019
FBA Inventory Storage Fee Changes
Starting February 15, 2019, long-term storage fees (LTSF) will be eliminated for items that have been in a fulfillment center for 181 to 365 days and the minimum LTSF will be reduced from $0.50 per unit to $0.15 per unit.
 
In April 2019, Amazon will start charging special storage fees for dangerous goods containing flammable or pressurized aerosol substances.
 
 
Fulfillment Fee Changes
Effective February 19th, 2019, Amazon will increase most of the FBA fulfillment fees and will add separate fees for dangerous goods that contain flammable or pressurized aerosol substances and items that contain lithium ion batteries.

Referral Fee Changes
Minimum fee reduced from $1.00 to $0.30. Baby, Beauty, Health & Personal Care, and Furniture have changed their referral fee from 15% to:
Baby, Beauty, and Health & Personal Care:
  • 8% (product selling price < $10.00)
  • 15% (product selling price > $10.00)
Furniture:
  • 15 % for the portion of the total sales price up to $200.00
  • 10% for any portion of the sales price greater than $200.00 (excluding mattresses, which will be charged 15% on all sale prices)
